 Accredited medical imaging centres

Our mammography clinics in Saskatoon and Prince Albert are accredited by the Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR).

The CAR Mammography Accreditation Program (MAP)

The CAR Mammography Accreditation Program (MAP) is an initiative that ensures the quality of mammography images meets the highest standards available. This voluntary program offers our radiologists the opportunity to receive peer review and evaluation of our staff qualifications, equipment performance, quality control and quality assurance, image quality, and dose.

Patient safety through continuous quality improvement is the objective of MAP. It is in our team’s best interest to ensure that, when a patient is undergoing a procedure, it is completed in a manner that exposes them to the lowest possible radiation dose and risk, and results in a high quality image that the radiologist can accurately interpret.
